So, I'm pretty new to littlefedi, and I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but when I receive an email telling me that I have a new notification (reply, new follower, etc.), my Notifications tab is empty. Just trying to figure out why it's empty after I receive an email telling me there's a new notification.

@cmccullough did you unselect some notification types from the settings menu? If you disable them, you won’t see them in the notification bar but the system will still see them, producing the email
