You have to admit many fan made #StarWars movies recently made are far better than the average "official" star war movies.
Remember in technology when hackers and geeks with much less money and resources achieve what the big tech didn't?
The same happens in film making. Many of them are funded through #crowdfunding like many #foss softwares and #opensource hardwares are. I do wish I could financially support them.

@farooqkz many years ago, there was a fantastic fan film called Batman:Dead End, which was better known by fans as Batman vs Alien vs Predator - utterly fantastic, easily the best Batman entrance ever filmed, and pretty much my favourite Batman movie.
Honourable mention goes to Batman vs Darth Vader, which I think also involved Superman!
It's worth watching just for Batman flying a TIE-Fighter!
Easily better than any of the Star Wars prequels.
