„Capitalism is not natural - it's enforced!“,
Glara Mattei
Wow, what a great talk!
Obviously capitalism isn't "natural". neither are eyeglasses; it's a vacuous point.
As to "enforced"; not really, no. Capitalism is respected or not, not "enforced". That would imply that, under #capitalism, no one can practice anything else, which would be an ignorant claim to make.
It's #socialism which requires enforcement. Quite brutal enforcement, as it turns out.
@AlexanderKingsbury @fasnix You can't have capitalism without employer-employee contracts being enforced.
Not requiring employer-employee contracts doesn't resolve the issues with capitalism. Any employer-employee contract violates the workers' inalienable rights.
"You can't have capitalism without employer-employee contracts being enforced."
You've made it abundantly clear many times already that you do not grasp the concept of capitalism. You don't need to belabor the point. If you ever want to learn, I'll be here, but I think we both know you're more interested in spouting nonsense.
If you say anything worth responding to, I'll respond, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
Understanding can be demonstrated by explaining the other person's perspective.
"Capitalism," to you, means private property and markets (including labor) without state regulation .
Almost every pro-capitalist I've come across thinks that it entails workers being able to work for an employer without having any voting rights in the firm they work in. A market economy where workers have protected voting rights in their firms isn't seen as capitalism in most cases.
