A few minutes ago, maybe ten minutes ago now as I type this into littleFedi, I decided to turn off the television box.

Immediately I felt relief.

I still feel relief.

I was overwhelmed with all the 25th anniversary coverage.

Even using watching Canadian CBC news channel as some kind of proxy or filter to lessen the "overwhelmingness", it became overwhelming.

Exercising self-agency, I am giving myself permission to give myself permission to decide whatever I watched on TV already is enough for me, for today, to remember this day, 25 years ago.

25 years ago today, I was updating my Postnuke CMS powered blog/website, and as 9 a.m. rolled around, I randomly decided to turn on the TV and have on as background the Buffalo, NY, ABC Channel ( whose signal all Torontonians typically have access to via antennae or cable ), which would be airing Live with Regis and Cathy Lee.

I stopped updating my website, and kept watching the TV news. For hours.

Today, right now, I have stopped watching the TV News, and will return to updating web stuff.

But later, not right now.

I have nothing profound to offer.

...I keep forgetting, I wrote an entire book about/relating to all this the following year, 2002.

It hasn't been online for years. Maybe I work on putting it back online ? Maybe begin that later today.
