The right wingers in the US have lost their collective minds, but they‘ve been far better at propaganda than the left wing for a long time.

I am convinced that Democrats lost in 2024 because they were worse at informing their voters than the right was at disinforming theirs.

Democratic leaders are foolishly stubborn about abandoning strategies that have failed us, again and again for years. We need stop asking them to shape up, and replace them.

🧵 The Natalie Harp story illustrates a lot of bad things about Donald Trump's addiction to praise, no matter how disturbing it is. But it also shows something that Republicans do much better than Democrats: Help people who want to help you.

This is something I have seen firsthand having been on the right and then switched to the left, I know each from the other well.

Each side does the opposite thing.

There is no "left wing" in USA.

USA is a one-party system cosplaying as two-party system.

@bsdphk@fosstodon.org @slimhazard@mastodon.world I’ve been saying this for years: it is a single party with two wings that diverge on certain points. And the electoral system based on district delegates is a disorganized version of the electoral colleges found in countries like Cuba and China—far removed from what would constitute a full, direct democracy.
