I remember the feeling, as a teenager, to perceive the web as 'my window on the world', for then turning, in the 2010's, into a closed trap where nothing felt natural or random anymore. What I think I missed the most is the randomness.
@chapter1@mastodon.social no need to be sorry! perhaps I went lost in translation, what I wanted to say is that imagining my random post (that I thought no one would see) ending up on your screen was a nice feeling. that kind of unexpected connection in this vast open web, like the old days. priceless.
@paveljanicek@mamutovo.cz this also, I didn't expect this little test post to go around so quickly, outside of here. Despite being on the Fediverse already since a couple of years, I think I'm just starting to experience the power of it.
