Hej, I'm Florian, or Flo for short (only my family calls me with my full name).
Born 1977 as a gay person, and raised near Lake Constance in the south of Germany.
After my parents got a divorce and my father met another woman, we moved to Dresden, when I was 15.
Lived here until I started my apprenticeship in 2000 in Lindau (Lake Constance), so moved back again.
After being self-employed (ebay seller and creating simple websites), which unfortunately wasn't sustainable, I took a job in the security branch, however only got contracts for one year (three times), until I moved back to Dresden in 2010 and lived here ever since.
Since 2018 I have a dog, which you can see in my header picture, when we took a walk along the river Elbe.
Currently unemployed (since May '24), IT-support (thanks "AI", which overtook my profession, I guess).
Interested in too many things, like minimalism, barefoot shoes, cycling, music, interior design, and much more.
Edit: I love languages, especially constructed ones, like Esperanto, Lingwa de Planeta, Mini Linga, started to learn Swedish, Italian, Welsh, however didn't stick to neither of them.
I was a twitter "power user", from 2009-2022.
Created my first account in the fediverse on mastodon.social in 2018, however only used it sporadically.
Since the end of 2022, I exclusively use the fediverse and experienced different network software (mastodon, akkoma, pixelfed, and now littlefedi).
That's it as an introduction for now 😀

Nach all den Jahren sprecht ihr wirklich immer noch von "Ziel"?
Ein Ziel ist doch etwas, das man erreichen will!
Beispiel:
"Ich will den Halbmarathon laufen und durchs Ziel laufen."
Oder:
"Unser Ziel ist es, unsere Follower bis Ende 2026 zu verdoppeln."
Bei den 1,5°C geht es aber doch gerade nicht um ein Ziel, sondern um eine "Grenze", eine "Rote Linie", die keinesfalls erreicht oder gar überschritten werden soll!
Ich verstehe wirklich nicht, dass das immer noch in eurem Sprachgebrauch ist!
(Abgesehen davon, dass viele Klimawissenschaftler:innen inzwischen davon ausgehen, dass die globale Erwärmung nicht mehr unter 1,5°C gehalten werden kann, sondern voraussichtlich weit darüber liegen wird.)

Nine years ago, someone in Caracas decided a Border Collie puppy with one blue eye and one brown eye wasn't worth keeping and handed him to animal control. Last week the city of Maracaibo cast him in bronze.
His name is Tsunami. On 24 June 2026, two earthquakes hit northern Venezuela and gutted the coastal town of La Guaira. He found his first survivor 40 minutes after the ground stopped moving, then worked six straight days. At least 26 people came out alive.
Nobody checked his bloodline first. He passed a test that has nothing to do with pedigree, the same test every shelter dog is quietly waiting to take.

Ok, aber das ist ja nicht etwas, was als "staatliches System" verordnet werden kann.
Abgesehen davon, dass jegliche Erfindungen heutzutage ja auch technische Voraussetzungen erfüllen müssen, die wiederum nicht (nur) vom Staat, sondern auch der EU-Ebene "überwacht" werden.
Kommt also bissl drauf an, worüber wir hier im Einzelnen reden:
Erfindergeist im Privaten ("Grillspieß"), oder um damit Geld zu verdienen?

Inwiefern könnte die (Planwirtschaft) also als Kompromiss-Vorschlag eingebracht werden, das verstehe ich nicht?

Did you know Canada had its own answer to the Red Hot Chili Peppers?
Same style of music, though Bootsauce leaned a little more metal. So damn similar that even Wikipedia says they were “compared favorably to the Red Hot Chili Peppers.”
Now you might say Bootsauce just copied RHCP.
But here’s the wild part.
Bootsauce recorded a cover of “Love Rollercoaster” FIRST. On this album it’s called “Rollercoaster’s Child,” but it’s pretty much the same thing. RHCP recorded their version 4 years later.
Bull is very much a product of its time, though. There just isn’t much funk rock in this style anymore, with RHCP being the lone mainstream exception.
I really like “Love Monkey #9,” which opens the album with a complete scorcher.
Then there’s “Dogpound.” It has bass. Bass for DAYS. And that chorus is delicious.
This album was a modest success in Canada and went gold. It never really reached ears beyond this country.
But that’s all right.
Some music is just for Canada.
