Bit of a disappointing trip. Nice ascent & quiet summit, picnic + wine, until 50+ others joined us with music, shouting etc. We headed off to a quiet, adjacent hill. Difficult to get shot during eclipse as no filters, but towards the end, as we were descending, we were rewarded for our efforts by the sun dropping into the evening haze near Granada.

Next year we'll do more research in advance and maybe know a bit more about how to shoot these things đŸ˜‚

The aliens have landed in our back garden in southern Spain!!!! Wonder what he thinks of us humans?
Or, could it be a European Dwarf Mantis (Ameles spallanzania)?

I guess it's #Caturday so I should add this image of one of our cats chilling out in the cool of the morning.

N:B @stefano .. I did try to edit text immediately after posting this image and the editing process was quite confusing and took a while to open. When I eventually added some text to the edit, the media was lost. I ended up deleting the original post and re-posting
