Ik heb die uitzending (niet geheel toevallig) gezien. Wat mij vooral opviel is dat het met name ging over AI en de inzet ervan, niet over de transparantie van de premier in dezen.
Alle drie de gasten hadden het voortdurend over de inzet van AI en over dat iedereen het zo snel als mogelijk zou moet inzetten, want we (idereen) ontkomen er niet aan.
Als stemmer in Nederland ben ik ook zeer geรฏnteresseerd in de transparantie en integriteit van de bestuurders.
Als de premier meteen had verteld dat er (enkele van) zijn posts gebruik is gemaakt van AI, had er bij lange na niet zo'n ophef over geweest, denk ik zo maar.
Daar gaat het om in de politiek.
Het is het liegen, bedriegen, het gebrek aan transparantie en andere integriteitsschendingen waar stemmers grote problemen mee hebben.

Margaret Hamilton led the Software Engineering team at MIT that created the software that ran NASA's Apollo Guidance Computer. The photo of her standing next to a stack of source code printouts โ that's her work, and she was essential to NASA's mission of landing people on the Moon for the first time ever and getting them back to Earth again safely.

Aaron Swartz was charged on July 14th, 2011 with wire fraud and computer fraud (under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act). He potentially faced 30 years in jail and a fine of 1 million dollars or more. The theory was that he exceeded authorized access by automated scraping through 4.8 million JSTOR articles.

AI crawlers crawl trillions of documents, often ignoring any ToS the prohibit automated scraping.
OpenAI downloaded pirated books from Library Genesis and created internal datasets that became the foundation for GPT-3's training.
Meta torrented 80+ TB of data from Anna's Archive for Llama 4. There are records of internal discussions at Meta that the data set was known to be pirated content.
Where is the federal prosecutor to throw charges at OpenAI and Meta? That's right. No charges.

Now that littleFedi has been released and new instances are starting to appear, we can focus again on development and testing.
From now on, the littleFedi accounts on this instance will work like this:
The announcement - @littlefedi_official - account will be used for announcements: new releases and important communications. It will be a very low-traffic account, so I suggest following it with some attention. A new build, by the way, is not far away... ๐
There will also be an account dedicated to hints, where we will publish, notice the plural ๐, tips, tricks and useful little things about littleFedi. It does not exist yet, but I will create and announce it as soon as possible.
This account will remain more general, as it is now, although of course it will mainly talk about littleFedi.
This instance will remain our test instance. New builds and new features will be tested here before their public release.
For now, the littleFedi development model will also remain the same: the developers develop, fix, experiment and, when something is ready, a new version is released.
Open Source is freedom, not conformity.
littleFedi has its own history, its own way of growing and its own direction. We will keep following them, without trying to imitate a model just because it is the most common one in the Open Source world.
Open Source was born to let people do things differently.
