Signal updates like this are nice.

It is the single deal breaker that made me switch to delta.chat.
The limitation to 1 android device and 5 PC is just not compatible with my life.
Nice to see it removed but a bit late - just like they're removing the mandatory phone number.
Delta never had it.
Delta also doesn't have a single server that can be subpoena (signal runs on AWS and signal is under US jurisdiction), so i'll stick with delta.

And of course, there is the single killing feature:
with delta.chat you can run apps in your chat, and the said apps is only available to the members of the chat.
It ranges from
the extremely practical (common shopping list with the partner, anyone ?),
the nice to have (your move in that scrabble game !),
to the totally crazy and therefore absolutely necessary :
X86 emulator that can load 32-bit ISOs and supports TCP/UDP networking using realtime API. (https://webxdc.org/#ms702-v86emu)
enjoy ! 😺

Delta.Chat is also my most-loved messenger.
However, via Signal I have the most contacts, yet.
WhatsApp? Nope :)

@fasnix I know. Inertia to get people to change is huge.
But if you build it, they will come...
