the tech industry fervor over Omarchy is so fucking confusing to me that i'm honestly starting to wonder if it's just money laundering. over TWELVE MILLION DOLLARS for a fascist's dotfiles and bash scripts is patently insane
@davidcelis how in the heck? basically nobody gives alpine money and it is the backbone of the modern internet, but some vanity distro gets $12m?
do you have any idea what foundational distros like alpine could do with $12m? it would be game changing.

But giving money to Alpine doesn't promote a political agenda. All it does is help lots of people you don't know personally. Obvious waste of money.
