The fog muffles the lights and the colours. The fog muffles the noises and sounds, creating a penetrating silence everywhere. It's Sunday, there's fog and it's silent outside.

@stefano Climate change maybe, but here in the Bassa we haven’t had a proper fog yet this autumn. And this is a place where the joke was always that the fog was thick enough that you could lean your bike on it…

Climate change has its effects. The thick fogs we used to see that often are now quite rare.
@stefano When I see this photo, I remember walking to school as a child at 6:30 in the morning; the sun wouldn't show itself until the 9:30 break—and even then, it was a toss-up.
