@francois @daisy ok, it's there. You can choose a language to filter or "Match all languages except", that will filter out all the languages not selected.

@stefano @francois it doesn't work as expected for me. I used the Match-all-except-option with English and Deutsch, but this post https://troet.cafe/users/Obstturnier/statuses/117138101782517901 got hidden. It's in Deutsch and I have no idea why it got hidden...

@stefano there seems to be a problem: the preferences are not saved ? All fields are blank any time I go back ???

I have specifically excluded italian to make testing easy :-)

@daisy @francois "Match all except" deliberately treats an empty/unknown stored language as a match, so these older rows are hidden. Any remote status ingested before language support may be hidden by an inverted language filter, regardless of its actual language.
So it will work "from now on".

Thank you for investigating. I did check the post example in tusky and it has the German language mark (on Mastodon). It looks like it maybe just didn't get all the way to littleone. 🤔 i try checking for it from other places next...

@daisy @francois we will modify this, but older posts will still be ignored by the setting as the database column is empty. It will be populated in new posts.
