Interesting morning. Sat playing at my laptop and just felt an earthquake. Lasted for 3-4 seconds but ground was moving. A little bit scary but interesting at the same time. 4.8 magnitude about 50km away.

Lots of earthquakes happen around the world right now.
Could you watch the latest video Geophysicist Stefan Burns published?
What's your opinion about them?

Think so, too.
Following him since some months, interesting how he connects "space weather" to happenings within the Earth, like earthquakes and volcanoes.

@epn4littlefedi Do you live in Granada? This next week we are going to travel to Granada city to visit family and friends, we have not done so for years and we are a little worried about the situation

@ferrebam we live just outside to the south of the Sierra Nevada. 58kms from the city. I don't think there is too much to be worried about, we have a lot of quakes in this region but there aren't many above Mag4. I have been here 24 years and today it was the first time I have felt anything. There was some minor damage and I think 3 people were slightly injured, I guess by falling debris.
