Hola mundo!

Larga vida a littlefedi!

I worry that some people aren’t taking Omarchy seriously enough. It’s not just another Linux distro. It’s a well-orchestrated campaign to centralize power and influence within the Linux FOSS ecosystem. And it’s working.

Anyone paying attention to DHH and what he stands for can see what’s going on here. When the guy who thinks that brown people don’t belong in society hires the guy who thinks trans people shouldn’t exist, you can see where this is going.

What a precedent is generated with the closure of #Autistici. It is the same fascism of the last century at full speed, they go for everyone.
Now more than ever, take care, protect others and follow the fight.

WM

Correct, I agree, if you can choose between two options, the one that is the most ethical is better. Still, even if more restrictive licenses are used, in practice, I doubt it will be 100% controllable if all developments are free from the use of LLM.
When I said radicalization, I was referring to the fact of even choosing to stop using, for example, Linux systems. I think it is 1000 times better to continue using them, even if there is controversy with LLM, rather than closed options. We also have to be realistic, what is interesting is that there are more and more users outside of exclusive options and, for that, we cannot bet on options with almost no adoption or not designed for the general public.
It's complicated, but we agree on the core of the problem.

@nina_kali_nina@tech.lgbt
I thought it was interesting to share it, since you have taken the trouble to review it.
I understand the problems of the llm but I have mixed feelings about this. Not because I think it's okay for it to be used in something as sensitive as the development of an operating system, but rather because of a sense of searching for "absolute purity" that in the end leads to radicalized positions.
But yes, I think that some type of control must exist, that certainly does.

Now I have realized that the publications in Fedilab are ordered in a "strange" way; I have posts from 22 hours ago at the beginning of the timeline and posts from 1 minute ago much further down.
Has this happened to anyone else with Mastodon clients?
I don't think I have configured anything specifically to make it behave like this.

#LittleFedi works great with the Fedilab client but I miss the native web interface, which is great.
The other alternative is to use pwa but, sometimes, it is a bit jerky, it may be due to using fennec (Android) as a web rendering engine.

@epn4littlefedi Do you live in Granada? This next week we are going to travel to Granada city to visit family and friends, we have not done so for years and we are a little worried about the situation

A large earthquake of magnitude 5 shakes Granada: material damage, rescues and emergency activated.

Happened just after 1am. Some friends up the hill felt it but I was away with the fairies. Felt nothing 🧚‍♀️🧚‍♂️🤣

Then thunder and lightning this morning but very little precipitation. Is the world falling to bits?

@stefano Based on your experience, do you think that RPI0W would be a candidate for having, for example, a maximum of 3 users?
I also have an rpi0w and an rpi3 to test

I share with you a modest timelapse of the #eclipse.

In our case, it has not reached the totality but it has been exciting all the same.
