So many conlang-projects that invite learners to their discord server, and therefore into closed gardens.

Why can't they talk in the open, like e.g. over the fediverse network?
Or, at least, use discourse as a forum?

sigh

I just stumbled upon "Flarum", an free and open source forum software.

Looks interesting!

@fasnix Flarum is great. But I don't know whether It can federate like nodeBB. @stefano already deployed a forum with nodebb and fediverse connection.

For me, it's ok, if a forum does not federate, if a community doesn't want or need it.

I just would like to be able too read the postings publicly, without the need to register, like it's the case with e.g. discord.
