While I prefer native wildflowers to non-native decoratives, I must admit that these dahlias are stunning 😍

I'm reminded that light is a physical thing when I step out of my house into the blazing sunlight of a clear summer day and feel the weight of the sun on my skin. I am again awed that a source of light and heat 150 million kilometers away can burn me 🤯
