Screenshot of the littleFedi web interface in Italian, showing a three-column social timeline layout with a left navigation sidebar, central post composer and feed, and a right sidebar for search and timeline shortcuts. The clean white-and-blue design, rounded buttons, tabbed timelines, and overall structure strongly recall the classic pre-X Twitter web interface.

Some friends are joining the Fediverse from other social networks and have fond memories of the old Twitter days. We thought of you, and we鈥檙e now merging the branch that brings theming support!

Soon, on littleOne, you鈥檒l be able to choose from a selection of predefined themes.

Stay tuned!

Please don't feel you have to import every other feature and the kitchen sink 馃槃
Lean and mean is the way I like it, and I'm sure I'm not the only one...

@francois sure. But there are some branches with some light, but interesting features, that won't add too many things but will still improve the QoL experience.

@stefano maybe a kind of plugin system in the codebase could be a way.

Is theming is done just by CSS/stylesheets (like in the 'ol days)?

@tionisla yes, that's the idea. It is pure CSS (similar to BSSG), so not difficult to manage. My idea is to allow people to create their own themes, copy&paste them into the settings and use them, both for the social part and blog one
