LLMs
While I normally try to avoid the doom-tooting, it just seems to be a too realistic way forward for those PE-driven Bastards in c-suites to willfully bind themselves to those snakeoil Bastards and yeet their valuable knowledge workers.
LLMs and the destruction of knowledge worker jobs
Ways to feed my anxiety: reading this reddit post about an Austrian tech company starting to pressure first level support to quit in favor of chatbots... Hits a tad bit too close to home. Reddit-Post
@francois @colinstu@birdbutt.com oh wow thats crazy; I am guessing you had whatsapp at some point then?
I have had that before where a service thought I was reachable because I had signed up to it in the past and there was no way to delete an account as far as I could tell. So I just didnt use it anymore, and one would think that if you haven't used their app for some time it should notify the sender, right...? Wrong, apparently.

Also notice that a lot of the top solar countries are also the northernmost countries in the EU. Makes you wonder...
"interior designer reviews architects plans"
Such a great and insightful series, fun to watch (if one is interested in the topic, which I am)!
(The original architects should be ashamed about creating so "sluggish" floorplans!

What will littleFedi's official-ish Plushie end up being ?
Whatever it is,
I want one.
Or two.
Or a few.

@alisynthesis@io.waxandleather.com I was putting together a little list of some of my favorite jazz artists for @tootbrute@fedi.arkadi.one when I remembered an extraordinary jazz-hop act that you should check out for something unlike anything you've ever heard (unless you happened to come across this one before):
One of the most unique records I've had the pleasure of adding to my eclectic collection of musical treasures

@tootbrute@fedi.arkadi.one I think my favorite jazz "album" is the Centennial Trilogy by Chief Adjuah, and I highly recommend a listen 🎺
(Gotta put "album" in quotes because it's actually three: Ruler Rebel, Diaspora, and Emancipation Procrastination)
If you like that ☝️ you should also check out:
- Shabaka
- Kamasi Washington
- Theon Cross
- Yussef Dayes
- Aaron Shaw
- Rebecca Trescher
- Mary Halvorson
- Christopher Hoffman
- Patricia Brenna
- Tomin
- Nubya Garcia
- Amaro Freitas
- Ezra Collective
- Sun Ra Arkestra
- Kokoroko
- Makaya McCraven
- Pokaz Trio
I could keep going, but maybe I shouldn't 😅
