The plan was to release the source code for #littleFedi before the end of the month, but #EuroBSDCon takes place shortly after and I'll be quite busy.
Since the first few days post-release are always the most dynamic, the plan now is to release it right after (shortly after 15 September), allowing a few more weeks for bug fixes, tweaks, integrations, etc., that the wonderful people on this instance are sending in day after day.
To all of you: thank you!

@stefano nice to have a timeline for release, looking forward to poking at the self hosted instance, reporting, and maybe even contributing (probably beyond my very rudimentary Go skills). Good luck team!
@stefano Thank YOU and the team !!!

@stefano thanks team #littlefedi. Gives me plenty of time to get my own house in order prior to install
@stefano
It's a real pleasure to see this wonderful vision getting into shape (and being a part of it).
Thank you very much! π€
@stefano
Thanks to you and the whole team that prefers to stay in the background.
Much love to all, who are so strongly commited to create such a beautiful platform called littlefedi π€
@stefano I can't wait to try LittleFedi, I currently have GTS set up for this instance on a Raspberry Pi running Alpine Linux and docker. Will there be a docker container available on release or will it be just a binary for the time being ?
Thanks for all, yours and the teams hard work on this amazing software.
@greylinux@gts.capella-ember.uk Creating a Docker container will be simple, and I wouldn't rule out the team creating and maintaining one.
@stefano I saw references to SMTP in the docs but didn't see it in the list of requirements. Is (or will there) be an alternate setup or verification path, or could you elaborate on what's necessary and how it's utilized?
Also, this is some of the best documentation I've ever seen!
