Moved from Prosody to Ejabberd XMPP servers last night in my homelab... because... 🤷
Whatsapp, Discord and IRC Bridges all set up again... some tweaking with permissions I think to do yet, but the important one is set up for the family to get hold of me easily and the family group chat is on whatsapp.
Also going to set up the invites system, which was actually my main reason to change over; if I can send friends a link and make the onboarding super easy I'll have a better success rate getting them to try it.

Keep being awesome I'm sure the team building it appreciates the enthusiasm and the thoughtful engagement. I guess this is a dev and user appreciation post!

I seem to remember talk of little fedi mesh something or other. I didn't totally understand it at the time but it had some of the key words i like
I’ve been swamped with work for three weeks and can barely keep up with the Fediverse.
The littlefedi project is fantastic, and I can hardly keep pace with how fast it’s evolving. Kudos to everyone involved in this evolution—and, of course, to Signore Barista, the Direttore d'orchestra.
@fasnix I tend to use an easier layman term that most folks are used to.. I tell them it's like Twitter/X where you can follow people and they follow you back and that's it. Don't say more. Just let that sink in for them for a moment.. if they have questions about it they will ask..
Describing it in a detailed or technical sense just confuses them.. unless they ask to elaborate in detail..

I wonder how accessible littleFedi is?
Starting with all the color combinations offered in the different themes (appearance of the timeline and the blog).
I know that you can write your own CSS, but the themes should be accessible in standard settings, without the need to change anything.
