I like both versions of this scene from the creek out back, but the crop of a photo can really change the feel of a scene, yeah? I typically like wider crops more, but square crops tend to work better for small screens because you don't have to ask your audience to rotate orientation for proper viewing 😅

Cyanocitta stelleri like to cut off bunches of Sambucus racemosa to eat the berries in private. Not all of them are great at picking ripe bunches 😅

Spider season started early on the Olympic Peninsula this year. Walking into webs every which way I go isn't my favorite thing in the world, but I do love the opportunity to photograph some cool arachnids. This particular spider is Callobius severus. My partner saved her from drowning, and I captured a bazillion photos while she recovered in the sun.

@shom I think I misunderstood your reply at first 😅

I enjoy Phanpy for my Mastodon alts, and I wouldn't mind seeing some of Phanpy's UI make its way over to littleFedi. The boost carousel really is a better way to handle boosts in my feed, for sure. Most importantly, in the context of my wishlist post:

Phanpy has filter toggles on my profile, and that's what I'd really like to see come to littleFedi someday.

@stefano hadn't created enough lists to notice this before, but it looks like the list of lists only renders as far as an account's profile. Shorter profiles render less of the list, longer profiles render more. There's no way to scroll beyond what's rendered, so some lists are inaccessible. Tested from desktop and mobile, appears to be the case in both.

The post composer for littleFedi is one of the most exciting Fedi developments I've seen since I first came here some years ago. I love the granular self-destruct, the scheduling, and I'm especially excited to try that "Blog post" setting soon. Kudos to @stefano for bringing something new and exciting to the Fediverse 👏
