Local timeline
So this is my very first interaction with littleFedi. I'm amazed by how well it looks !
So let's keep this post simple and share its website: https://littlefedi.org/
LittleFedi asks in the compose field:
"What is worth sharing?"
Interesting question 🤔
Other clients ask, e.g.:
"What's on your mind?"
(you don't want to know, really 😁)
or
"What are you doing?"
(nothing really, watching my timeline fly by)
Another question could be:
"Have you really thought about what you are about to share with the public / whole wide world?" 🤔
I like the catch-up feature on LittleFedi !
So easy to just take a glimpse of the timeline without scrolling full day 👍

@stormii@darmstadt.social @HolosSocial@mastodon.social Holos is more oriented towards storing and forwarding messages to you device. This has a more "traditional" approach, while still being light. But yes, there are some similarities.
@fasnix
Another great thing about littlefedi (for me) is the possibility to change a "normal" post to a permanent blog post that will not get deleted automatically.
I will use this feature for posts that are important (to me, at least).
@fasnix Well, that actually is a very nice idea - seperate the ephemeral from the "eternal" and still make social interactions viable without flooding the timeline with eternal "nice garbage".
The aliens have landed in our back garden in southern Spain!!!! Wonder what he thinks of us humans?
Or, could it be a European Dwarf Mantis (Ameles spallanzania)?
@pluvialgeist it's because it can't recognise the notification type and doesn't deal with it properly.
I'm not expecting that the "normal" Mastodon apps will support, at least for now, the littleFedi's peculiarities like local posts, etc. That said, I'm planning to extend MastoBlaster to deal with (most of) them.
@argv_minus_one@mastodon.sdf.org yes, the approach is similar. Here you can use the sqlite or the PostgreSQL, if you're planning a larger instance.

Ha, I can say "My name is Flo" in six different languages:
"Ich heiße Flo." (German)
"My name is Flo." (English, I'm quite fluent speaking it)
"Je m'appelle Flo." (French, the only sentence I remember)
"Jag heter Flo." (Swedish, also the only sentence I remember)
"Mi nomigxas Flo." (Esperanto, which I really like)
"Me nami Flo." (Lingwa de Planeta / Lidepla, I like their philosophy and the sound of the language itself and want to become fluent in speaking it, eventually)

Hej, I'm Florian, or Flo for short (only my family calls me with my full name).
Born 1977 as a gay person, and raised near Lake Constance in the south of Germany.
After my parents got a divorce and my father met another woman, we moved to Dresden, when I was 15.
Lived here until I started my apprenticeship in 2000 in Lindau (Lake Constance), so moved back again.
After being self-employed (ebay seller and creating simple websites), which unfortunately wasn't sustainable, I took a job in the security branch, however only got contracts for one year (three times), until I moved back to Dresden in 2010 and lived here ever since.
Since 2018 I have a dog, which you can see in my header picture, when we took a walk along the river Elbe.
Currently unemployed (since May '24), IT-support (thanks "AI", which overtook my profession, I guess).
Interested in too many things, like minimalism, barefoot shoes, cycling, music, interior design, and much more.
Edit: I love languages, especially constructed ones, like Esperanto, Lingwa de Planeta, Mini Linga, started to learn Swedish, Italian, Welsh, however didn't stick to neither of them.
I was a twitter "power user", from 2009-2022.
Created my first account in the fediverse on mastodon.social in 2018, however only used it sporadically.
Since the end of 2022, I exclusively use the fediverse and experienced different network software (mastodon, akkoma, pixelfed, and now littlefedi).
That's it as an introduction for now 😀
PS: English is my first foreign language, so please bear with me in case of errors.
Important note about ideal amplifiers in electronics
>Amplifier is the generic term used to describe a circuit which produces and increased version of its input signal. However as we will see in this introduction to the amplifier tutorial, not all amplifier circuits are the same as they are classified according to their circuit configurations and modes of operation.
>In “Electronics”, small signal amplifiers are commonly used devices as they have the ability to amplify a relatively small input signal. For example from a Sensor such as a photo-device, into a much larger output signal to drive a relay, lamp or loudspeaker for example.

One thing I especially like about littlefedi is that self-destruction works per post.
So, all my "good morning"- and "good night"-posts will self-destruct after 24 hours (if I think about selecting the setting).
