@mattblaze@federate.social They seem like people who read Philip K. Dick's "Second Variety" as reality rather than fiction.
Are there any speakers of Esperanto and Interlingua here that want to translate https://fedisuite.com? 😄
FediSuite
Your Fediverse Management Platform
Anyone can now translate FediSuite. I run my own Weblate at weblate.fedisuite.com for it. You create an account and work in your browser, no Git needed. If your language is missing, add it yourself. What you translate arrives as a pull request with me, I read through it and ship it with the next release.
FediSuite currently speaks German, English, Italian, French and Spanish. French and Spanish were not done by native speakers, so it matters that someone checks both and submits corrections. Reviewing existing languages is as welcome as adding new ones.
The web interface, the server messages and the emails can be translated.

Upgraded my @OpenBSDAms@bsd.cafe VM to the latest snapshot earlier today:
fd0# sysctl kern.version
kern.version=OpenBSD 8.0-beta (GENERIC) #56: Sat Sep 26 00:16:51 MDT 2026
deraadt@amd64.openbsd.org:/usr/src/sys/arch/amd64/compile/GENERIC

@stefano
Yes, on Android it works in general with just a dedicated app too. I just use https://f-droid.org/packages/dev.davidv.translator
@crp
@crp the idea is good, but it would definitely bloat the small littleFedi codebase. Some clients already do that (Mastoblaster does, for example), so, at least for now, it's not on the priority list.

I want to back for good
I wonder if @NationCymru@toot.wales plans to take its top level domain .cymru (and .wales) to Wales, as it prepares its independency from England?
"How to Live on Earth | Feature Documentary | Presented by Benedict Cumberbatch"
"What if the solutions to building a better future already exist?
How to Live on Earth is an ambitious feature documentary that explores how humanity can build a safe and thriving future by working with nature, not against it.
Presented by Benedict Cumberbatch, the film presents the ultimate hack, showing what becomes possible when we team up with nature to solve our greatest challenges.
Heart-warming, entertaining and energising, the film presents a hopeful vision of a future within reach – one in which nature thrives, and so do we."

Now I just had the idea of creating a poll asking all littlefedi-users which appearance setting they selected (out of curiosity).
However, littlefedi only allows four poll options right now.
Please add more options (like 20 or so) :)
After littlefedi will be published in the first 'stable' version, I plan to make this my main account (in around a week from now).
This means that I will switch to posting in German mainly, as it's my native language.
However, whenever I post a link to an article or a video that was published in English, I will also add a comment or an excerpt of the article in English.
I hope that my native English speaking followers will continue to follow me here and maybe use auto-translate in their fediverse app or client.
@littlefedi_official
As promised, the littleFedi source code will become publicly available in about a week.
We will publish a snapshot of the complete source tree, together with some basic instructions to build and run it. Pre-built binaries will also be provided.
This will not yet be a proper littleFedi release. Documentation still needs work, testing needs to be expanded, and several things need to be cleaned up before we can call it that.
But the important part is that the code will finally be out there.
People will be able to read it, build it, experiment with it, start using littleFedi..
Over time, development will progressively move to the BSD Cafe Forgejo, where we will have the usual tools for issues, contributions, releases and collaborative development.
We're not quite there yet.
For now, the first step is simple: open the doors and let people get their hands on the code.
About one more week.
Time for a second doppio espresso
